If it’s your first time putting yourself out there, whether online dating or real life dating, always remember to take everything with a grain of salt and take one day at a time. Dating isn’t always about finding the right person in a short amount of time.

I know this might contradict what I said earlier about playing the field and changing up your profile every now and then. But don’t give too much personal information away. This time I’m talking about safety here.
What’s the point of having fun and meeting people online if you’re putting yourself at risk just by giving too much information?
And there are still some risks of online dating. In fact, cyber stalking is now more common than face-to-face stalking. And this isn’t the normal stalking, ladies (like there’s actually a normal kind, but I’m sure you get my point). This is crazy, “I know where you live and work and do for fun and who you’re friends are” kind of intimate stalking.
I don’t want any of you to give up online dating because you don’t feel safe.
So make sure your online dating profile does not reveal anything that connects to your personal accounts. And make sure that you only give important information, like your number to people you feel you could trust.
